About Me

Hi there! I am Radha, an enthusiastic learner, mom for 2 lovely kids, wife and blogger. Thanks for stopping by. This is my special space in the net to share all my views, ideas and the outcomes of all my experiments with my sewing machine and a few needles. In this blog I share  designing and sewing clothes, and a few kind of DIY projects.....all those that help me learn new things everyday and make me very very happy!

I learned sewing from my mom.  I try and stitch clothes for me and my daughter. I still remember my first venture - 8th grade summer - tried to handle the sewing machine for the first time- closed the sleeves and my brothers had lots of fun when they saw what I did saying I know what and how to work with sewing machine. In my college days, I made all my salwars by myself and felt proud when my friends commended. I used scrap materials and made dresses for my little cousins. After my daughter was born, I did many dresses for her - thanks to Joann, my favorite fabric and accessory stop for keeping me busy. Now-a-days I am kind of fabricoholic - can't wait to design and create something out of it. I biggest wish is to make one quilt and definitely will post here.

I am an amateur photographer learning to take a perfect picture with my Nikon camera.  Whenever we go out, I always click lots of flowers and the nature. Now this blog helps me in improving my photography skills indoors.  I also enjoy reading books, listening to music. Most of all, I love to spend my time with my kids, be it coloring, Wii games or building Legos. We moved back to India recently and I am still continuing all my wonderful experiments  in my home laboratory and learn new things.
